Left to its own devices Portrait Pro is waaay too heavy-handed with its default corrections, in my opinion, which is why I rarely use it these days but. I find Portrait Pro more difficult to work with but what I did is shut off ALL the corrections and then add them back in one at a time, tweaking each as I go. SkinFiner will mask skin tones across the entire image by default so it might be the faster option for doing batch edits. It will identify multiple faces in a single shot but working with 20 faces in a single image might throw it a "curve". Portrait Pro is the more powerful option of the two of I've worked with, but it's going to be a face-by-face sort of operation. ![]() ![]() I've used SkinFiner and Portrait Pro I can't speak to On1 or Portraiture. Please comment on ease of use and quality of output too. Which one of these packages do everyone in the group photo all together or would I still have to go and select each face individually? Of course, I would do final touch up in PS if needed. I don’t want to go and retouch each face in each picture. I am looking for a software to help out in this situation. I am talking about mostly skin retouching/softening. ![]() I don’t want to retouch them in PS as it is very time consuming. I have large number of portrait pics with approximately 2-20 people in them (from a big family gathering).
